Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms
These Terms of Service ("Terms") constitute a legally binding agreement between you and Mantis Corp ("Mantis Corp," "we," "us," or "our"), governing your access to and use of the Mantis platform, the Speed-to-Lead service, and any related services (collectively, the "Service").
By accessing or using the Service, creating an account, submitting an inquiry form, or scanning a QR code that initiates contact with a business using our platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
If you are using the Service on behalf of a business or organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that entity to these Terms.
2. Description of Services
Mantis Corp provides a multi-tenant business management platform for service businesses, including the following core offerings:
2.1 Mantis Platform
A comprehensive business operations platform including scheduling, invoicing, CRM, route optimization, inventory management, AI-powered automation, compliance reporting, and communication tools for service businesses.
2.2 Speed-to-Lead Service
A standalone lead capture and qualification service ("Speed-to-Lead") that enables service businesses to respond to inbound leads via AI-powered SMS conversations within seconds of an inquiry being submitted. The Speed-to-Lead service includes:
- Automated SMS qualification conversations with inbound leads
- QR code generation linking to web-based chat interfaces
- Website chatbot widget integration
- Lead scoring, qualification, and routing to business owners
- Follow-up message sequences for unresponsive leads
- Business owner dashboard and conversation management
2.3 Social Studio
A done-for-you social media content service that produces 26 posts per month (a mix of single-image posts and 6 to 8 slide carousels) in the customer's voice. Captions are drafted via large language models. Images are produced by AI image generation models. Every post requires customer approval prior to publication by default. Social Studio is marketed to pest control operators under the brand The Pest Post at thepestpost.com; subscribers who sign up via that brand are Social Studio customers of Mantis Corp under these Terms. Service-specific provisions, including a New York exclusion and an AI-generated-content disclosure, appear in Section 4 below.
2.4 Service Availability
We strive to maintain high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue features with reasonable notice.
3. SMS Messaging & Consent
This section applies to individuals who receive SMS messages through the Mantis Speed-to-Lead service. Please read it carefully.
3.1 Consent to Receive Automated Text Messages
By submitting a contact or inquiry form on a website that uses the Mantis Speed-to-Lead service, or by scanning a QR code and initiating a web chat conversation, you consent to receive automated text messages from or on behalf of the business you contacted. These messages are sent to facilitate a response to your inquiry and may include:
- An initial automated greeting identifying itself as an automated assistant
- Follow-up questions to understand your service needs
- Information about the business's services, availability, and scheduling
- Follow-up messages if you do not respond to the initial contact
3.2 Message Frequency & Rates
Message frequency varies depending on your inquiry and the responding business's configuration. Typically, you may receive 2 to 10 messages per inquiry. Follow-up messages (if you do not reply) are limited to a maximum of 5 messages total.

3.3 Opt-Out Instructions
You may opt out of receiving SMS messages at any time:
- Reply STOP to any message to immediately stop all messages from that number
- Reply HELP for assistance or to contact us at support@mantiscorp.ai
After opting out, you will receive one final confirmation message and no further messages will be sent. Opting out is permanent. If you wish to restart contact with the business, you will need to submit a new inquiry.
3.4 Automated Messaging Disclosure
All SMS conversations initiated through the Speed-to-Lead service are automated. The first message in every conversation identifies itself as an automated assistant. A licensed team member from the business you contacted will follow up directly based on the information collected in the conversation.
3.5 TCPA Compliance
Mantis Corp complies with the Telephone Consumer Protection Act (TCPA) and all applicable state and federal laws governing automated text messaging. All recipients have initiated contact and provided consent prior to receiving automated messages. We maintain records of all consent with timestamps and source identifiers.
3.6 Business Obligations
Businesses using the Speed-to-Lead service are responsible for ensuring their inquiry forms and QR code landing pages include appropriate consent language notifying users that they may receive automated text messages. Businesses may not use the service to send unsolicited messages to individuals who have not initiated contact.
5. Accounts & Eligibility
To use the Mantis platform, you must be at least 18 years of age and have the legal authority to enter into these Terms. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity under your account. Notify us immediately at support@mantiscorp.ai if you suspect unauthorized access.
You may not share your account credentials, create multiple accounts to circumvent usage limits, or use the Service for purposes not permitted under these Terms.
6. Acceptable Use
You may not use the Service to:
- Send spam, unsolicited messages, or messages to individuals who have not consented
- Violate any applicable law, including TCPA, CAN-SPAM, or state privacy laws
- Impersonate any person or entity or make false claims about your business
- Transmit harmful, obscene, defamatory, or fraudulent content
- Interfere with or disrupt the Service or its infrastructure
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract source code
- Resell or sublicense the Service without written authorization from Mantis Corp
- Use the Service for any unlicensed pest control, home services, or regulated activities without holding the required licenses in your jurisdiction
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these restrictions without prior notice.
7. Payment & Billing
Paid services are billed in advance on a monthly basis. All fees are non-refundable except as expressly stated in writing. We use Stripe for payment processing. By providing payment information, you agree to Stripe's terms of service. We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days' notice. Failure to pay may result in suspension or termination of your account.
For Speed-to-Lead service clients, monthly lead limits apply based on your pricing tier. The service will stop responding to new leads once the monthly limit is reached. Limits reset at the start of each calendar month.
8. Intellectual Property
The Service, including all software, AI models, algorithms, designs, and documentation, is owned by Mantis Corp and protected by intellectual property laws. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the Service for your internal business purposes during your subscription.
You retain ownership of all data and content you submit to the Service. By submitting content, you grant us a limited license to process and store it solely to provide the Service to you.
9. Privacy
Our collection and use of personal information is governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference. By using the Service, you agree to the practices described in our Privacy Policy.
10. Disclaimers
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT.
We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or completely secure. AI-generated content may contain errors and should be reviewed before use. SMS delivery rates may vary based on carrier and regulatory compliance status. We do not guarantee SMS delivery to all carriers at all times.
11. Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, MANTIS CORP SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING LOST PROFITS, DATA LOSS, OR BUSINESS INTERRUPTION, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE.
OUR TOTAL LIABILITY TO YOU FOR ANY CLAIM ARISING UNDER THESE TERMS SHALL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) THE AMOUNTS PAID BY YOU TO US IN THE 12 MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM OR (B) ONE HUNDRED DOLLARS ($100).
12. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Mantis Corp and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, liabilities, costs, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from: (a) your use of the Service; (b) your violation of these Terms; (c) your violation of any applicable law or regulation; or (d) any content you submit through the Service.
13. Termination
Either party may terminate the Service relationship at any time. You may cancel your subscription through the platform or by contacting support@mantiscorp.ai. We may suspend or terminate your access immediately if you violate these Terms, fail to pay fees, or if we reasonably determine that your use of the Service poses a legal, security, or reputational risk.
Upon termination, your access to the Service will cease. Data retention and deletion following termination is governed by our Privacy Policy.
14. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Riverside County, California, and you consent to personal jurisdiction in such courts.
If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.
15. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the "Last updated" date and provide notice through the Service or by email. Your continued use of the Service after the effective date of any changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.

4. Social Studio Service-Specific Terms
This section applies to all Social Studio subscribers, including those who sign up via The Pest Post (thepestpost.com). Read it before subscribing.
4.1 New York Service Exclusion
Social Studio is unavailable to businesses operating in, primarily serving, or directing social publishing to audiences in the State of New York. This exclusion is in response to New York Senate Bill 8420, which regulates the use of AI-generated content depicting human likeness. Our content pipeline regularly produces AI-generated images that may include depictions of technicians, customers, hands at work, and other human figures, and we cannot warrant compliance with the statute as it applies to New York-targeted publishing.
By subscribing to Social Studio, you represent and warrant that your business does not operate in, primarily serve, or publish social content directed to audiences in the State of New York. If your service area expands to include New York after subscribing, you agree to cancel the Service before publishing any Social Studio content to a New York audience and to notify us at support@mantiscorp.ai.
This exclusion may be revisited if and when the regulatory landscape stabilizes. Updates, if any, will appear in this Section 4.1.
4.2 AI-Generated Content & Human Likeness Disclosure
Every post we produce through Social Studio, both captions and images, is generated by AI systems. Captions are drafted by large language models (currently Google Gemini) using the voice profile and brand setup you provide. Images are generated by image-generation models (currently OpenAI image models) producing original compositions; they are not photographs of real persons. Generated images are stylistically photographic and may include depictions of human figures including, without limitation, technicians, customers, hands at work, and neighborhood scenes.
You acknowledge and agree that (a) images produced by the Service are AI-generated and do not depict any real, identifiable person; (b) if the jurisdiction in which you publish requires AI-disclosure labeling or watermarking on social media posts, that disclosure obligation rests with you as the publisher; and (c) you will not use the Service to generate, request, or publish content depicting the likeness of any identifiable real person without that person's documented written consent.
4.3 Customer Approval & Publishing
By default, every post must be approved by you in the Social Studio dashboard before it is published to any connected social platform. You may, at your option and on a per-platform basis, enable auto-publishing for posts that have been queued for at least one full billing cycle. You bear final responsibility for any content that is published to your social accounts whether or not auto-publishing is enabled.
4.4 Platform Connections
Social Studio publishes on your behalf to social platforms you connect via OAuth (currently Instagram and Facebook business pages; Google Business Profile is expected to be added). We do not connect to personal profiles. You may revoke access at any time from the upstream platform; doing so will suspend publishing without terminating your subscription.
4.5 Cancellation
You may cancel a monthly Social Studio subscription at any time from the billing page in your dashboard, effective at the end of the current billing period. Annual subscriptions may be cancelled at any time and we will refund the prorated value of any unused full months back to the original payment method. Cancellation does not require contacting support. General termination provisions appear in Section 13.
